Nordic Walking is for everyone!
Men and women of all ages and fitness levels do Nordic Walking. Nordic Walking is ideal for people recovering from injuries, for serious athletes and for everyone in between.
INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOPS
Nordic Walking for runners
We will be holding introductory classes to Nordic Walking on Saturdays in June. These workshops will introduce you to the basics of Nordic Walking and will give you a great opportunity to try the poles and see if this is something for you. There was a big interest at the Ottawa Race weekend, so the focus in these workshops will be on already active individuals.
There will be two classes offered, the first one is the “Learn to Nordic Walk”, which will give you the basics of the technique. The “Nordic Walk – part 2″ is a follow up session that will give you a chance to tie everything together and experience a full Nordic Walking workout. We recommend that you take the classes on separate weekends. Part 2 is optional.
All equipment is provided. Please wear running or walking shoes.
